第34回 IEEJ Global Energy Webinar
“IEA Energy Efficiency 2023: The future of energy demand following the COP28 Agreement to double efficiency progress”

　弊所では、海外の著名なエネルギー専門家によるオンラインセミナー“IEEJ Global Energy Webinar”を下記の通り開催（配信）します。

　今回は、国際エネルギー機関（IEA）が昨年11月に発表したレポート“Energy Efficiency 2023”をテーマとするウェビナーを開催致します。当該レポートのリードオーサーであるIEAのEnergy Efficiency Policy AnalystであるDr. Nicholas Howarthに、省エネルギーに関する世界的な動向について、最新の状況を踏まえたご報告をいただく予定です。COP28でも2030年まで現状ペースと比較してエネルギー効率改善ペースを倍増する合意がなされたところ、将来に向けた諸外国での省エネ対策強化に向けた動向をお話いただきます。ご講演後、質疑応答の時間をご用意しております。皆さま、どうぞ奮ってご参加ください。

　On February 21st, we, IEEJ, will host the 34th IEEJ Global Webinar featuring “Energy Efficiency 2023”, a policy report which was published by the International Energy Agency (IEA) last November. We are honoured to invite Dr. Nicholas Howarth, Energy Efficiency Policy Analyst,　IEA, who is the lead author of this brand-new report. Dr. Nicholas Howarth will cover the latest trends in the global energy efficiency policies and future directions in the efforts toward doubling the pace of annual energy efficiency improvement through 2030, which the governments worldwide called for at the COP 28, Dubai. His presentation will be followed by Q and A session. We, IEEJ, hope that you will join the upcoming event.
