Outline	On 23 July 2026, IEEJ co-hosted a workshop in Malaysia with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and PETRONAS, titled “The Middle East Crisis and its Impact on the Asian LNG market.” A total of 30 government and industry representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region participated and discussed under the Chatham House Rule. This report provides the a summary of the workshop according to the points, which are “The Need for a Predictable Investment Policies,” “Resilience of the LNG Market,” “GHG Emissions Reduction Measures from an Energy Security Perspective,” and “Approaches to Financing LNG Projects”.
